Benefits of doing things alone
Life is too short, time is too valuable and you are too blessed and able to wait on someone else to enjoy your life.
Have you missed a vacation because it never made it out of the group chat? Ever been ready to step out Saturday night but someone cancels on you 1 hour before so you stayed home. Maybe you wanted to workout and the person you ask to join you said, “no thanks” so you did not go. Turning down experiences, faking on yourself and waiting time you can not get back is no way to live. You keep telling yourself, “next time” but next time comes and goes 100 times. If this is you, it is time to step out and get out by yourself.
I get it, the thought of going to eat alone, a concert or vacation alone is scary but it is all in your head. You are overthinking and fearful of the unknown in a negative way. Thinking about “what if this” or “what if that” happens will only hold you back in life personally and professionally. The more to keep telling yourself “I can’t go by myself” the strong you will begin to believe that. You will being to lean on other people more than you are leaning into yourself. It will stop you from toning, stretching and sculpting mentally and physically. Here at Fit Life Lit Life we are BIG on showing up for ourselves. Sometimes showing up looks like getting dress, smelling good, washing the car and take a ride to that new restaurant on your list.
