No makeup makeup for acne prone oily skin

Self-care for the women who said, “I don’t want to look cagey wearing makeup.” or who said, “I don’t have time.”

Have you ever seen a woman and notice how put together she looks. From head to toe she looks clean, thought out and alert. She seems to be present in every meeting, engaged in every conversation she is in and introducing herself confidently. You thought I want to be like that and look put together. The outfit, hair style, skin care and a simple 10 minute makeup routine was all it took to elevate personally and professionally.

Between work, family, errands, workouts, school, building your dreams and trying to maintain some type of work-life balance (mentally and physically), getting ready can feel like another task on an already overwhelming to do list. If you have acne prone, oily skin and seemly larger pores, you might feel like makeup is more frustrating than fun like the girls on YouTube make it seem. You want your skin to look smooth, your complexion to look even, and your face to have that healthy, natural glow-but without spending 45 minutes in front of the mirror or piling on products that leave you feeling greasy. With good skin care products, consistent a.m and p.m routine along with a simple makeup routine this possible.

Welcome to the 10-minute no-makeup makeup look. This is more than a beauty routine. it is a small act of self-care that allows you to manage your time better, prioritize ourself, add confidence, feel good, slow down and show up for yourself. Caring for yourself isn’t just about what you eat, how often you exercise or how much water you drink. it is also about the little physical fitness habit we have without skin care. These habits can make you feel confident, energized, and looking forward to your day ahead. Continue readying down below to learn why a 10-minute makeup routine is a part of physical fitness, a 10-minute no-makeup makeup look for oily, acne prone skin, some skincare that improve texture, lighten blemishes, evens skin tone and glows your skin.

The products listened above has helped my texture go from bumpy to smoother. My skin has gone from dehydrated and dull to hydrated and glowy. With consistency a.m and p.m along with the proper skin care products for your skin type you can achieve skin glow up that will blow your mind. A solid skin care prep based before applying makeup can make or break your look. Invest in a deep cleaning facial (DIY or professionally) 3-4 times per month. This looks like steaming, warm towels, cold towels, extractions, microdermabrasion, ultra sonic facial skin spatula, dermaplaning, etc. Smoother texture will allow your makeup to lay smoother and give a more flawless finish. Remember, every day you wake up you have time to set into your skin care routine.

Things to remember: Skin care and makeup application

  • Don’t skip moisturizer - Choose a formula that hydrates without feeling heavy.

  • Let skincare absorb - Give moisturizer, primer and sunscreen a little time to settle before applying makeup.

  • Use thin layers - Too much foundation or concealer can emphasize texture and cause product to collect around blemishes and in fine line creases.

  • Choose products strategically - Look for non-comedogenic formulas when possible, and select finishes based on where your skin tends to get oily.

  • Keep tools clean - Wash makeup brushes and sponged regularly. I recommend once per week or after 3 uses with 10 days. Clean brushes allow your makeup to apply smoother, use less products and avoid bacteria from building. Also, avoid sharing them as well.

  • Blot - If oil appears during the day, gently blog oily area and then apply a small amount go powder if needed.

These small reminder are big when it comes to achieve glow, healthy, smooth and even skin. Makeup that can look more even, comfortable, and natural while still allowing your real skin to show through. It starts with a great skin prep and great products that work for you. Remember, smoother-looking makeup does not require perfectly smooth skin.

If you have been playing the waiting game with your life, the time to stop is now. No more waiting to wear that outfit on vacation, no more waiting until you are married to travel to certain locations, no more waiting to cut your hair until you lose weight, no more waiting to for clear skin to wear makeup and no more saying, “I don’t have time.” Let this be your reminder that you do not have to wait. You can care for yourself right now. You can start living today. Just because you are not at your goal place does not mean you cannot look good while you work to get there.

Just a simple quick makeup routine allows you to choose habits that make you feel more connected to yourself, not to create another expectation you have to live up to. So, for the next seven days, try giving yourself 10 minutes in the morning. it might be 15-20 if you are new to this. Keep your skin care simple and practice your no-makeup makeup look. Notice how you feel when you take a little time to get ready without rushing. Notice how you feeling putting some sparkle and umph into yourself. It is okay if you do not begin implementing this everyday. Start small with two or three days per week for a couple of weeks if a seven day makeup challenge seems like too much. If seven day is not too much for you, go all in. Starting this week do you no-makeup makeup look. Sometimes, ten minutes is enough to remind you that you deserve to feel good, look refreshed, and show up for yourself-one morning at a time.

Show down below what products you cannot live without, products you will try from my recommended skin care or makeup list or just say hello.
