Set your workout clothes out the night before (underwear, socks, bra, bottoms, hoodie, gym bag, etc)
Get 6 - 8 hours of sleep the night before
Avoid checking your phone (text, calls, social media or emails) first thing in the morning
When you wake up, GET UP! - The extra 5 minutes of sleep is not going to do much
Get ready & show up
Ignore the noise and world around you
Do not announce to anyone the new change you are making
Stay consistent, not perfect. Starting with 3 days per week is great for beginners.
Remember, you don’t have to wake up motivated every day but you do have to wake up willing and ready to do the work. Nothing in life works unless you do the work. You are blessed with an opportunity every day to try again and do it again. Discipline and willingness to grow and change will carry you on the days motivation doesn’t. So start slow, pick your day, set your alarm and set your clothes out. When you stay ready you don’t have to procrastinate to get ready. Step outside while the world is silent, slow moving and still. Your future self is already smiling at the fact you are making the choices today that will build a better you later.
